Sunday - February 5th 12:45 p.m.
Our driveway crew will be going out this afternoon / evening to do a quick run through all areas. If you receive a call and wish to have your full driveway cleared, please move your vehicles out of your driveway, as we are only running through the routes one time and will not be returning tomorrow for clean-ups or missed driveways. This is a courtesy run only as we have not reached 5 centimetres of snow accumulation. We have many reports of large winddrifts in the area and wish to be proactive.
Walkway shoveling crews will not be dispatched as this is just a courtesy run. If you have walkway shoveling please note that we have not received 5 cm.
Thank you for your patronage and have a great Sunday.
Sincerely,
Andy, Cindy and the rest of the staff at Andy's Lawn and Snow
If you wish to sign up for snow removal, please click on our winter services tab and fill out an online submission from.
Please contact by EMAIL only, whenever possible. We answer calls and listen to voicemails but often, as we are already on the phone, most calls go to voice mail. We do have several phone lines, but at times cannot get to the messages until several hours after they are left. We wish to answer everyone, and want you to all know that you are important to us; which is why we are addressing this issue. We can answer and address 10 email in the time that it takes to talk on the phone to one (however kind) customer.
We will always update the website, Facebook, Twitter and our voice mail when we dispatch for snow. If you need to contact the office during a storm, submit an online form via the website or email info@andyslawnandsnow.ca and one of us will respond in the order they are received.
Please refrain from pushing big piles of snow onto your driveway, as high piles are difficult (at times impossible) for our machinery to clear.
Be sure that there are no items left in the driveway that could be covered with snow and picked up by our blowers. Over the last few snowfalls our blowers have been jammed by multiple items such as welcome mats, car mats, large stones, X-Boxes and more, all of which slows down service for both you and your neighbors and can cause excessive damage to the equipment. Please be aware to keep your driveway clear.
We are receiving emails regarding us not being at each home at the time we announce dispatch. Note: it can take up to 9 hours to run through all our routes in ideal conditions, and up to 12 if not so ideal. As much as we would love to be at every home right away, it just is not possible.
Just a reminder that shoveling services can take up to 24 hours after the crew has been dispatched to complete their routes.
Please wait to report any misses or issues until after we update that we have completed our routes for the day. Report all issues before 9 a.m. the day FOLLOWING the dispatch to ensure that we can get back and take care of it before we send our crew home.

Learn MoreCOVID -19 Update April 14th 2020
To all our valued customers. Regretfully, we have been deemed non-essential. Current date for re-opening is May 12th as mandated by the provincial government. All spring clean ups, grass cutting, fertilizing / weed control, snow repairs and service quoting in person have been put on hold.
No payments will be processed without service rendered. All upcoming payments will be pro-rated for only services rendered and or credited as required.
Email and telephone messages will be received remotely as the office will remain closed until further notice to answer any questions about your services, payments, and or any requests for quotes.
We would like to thank you for your patronage and understanding through this crisis. We wish you all good health during this difficult time.
Respectfully, Andy, Cindy and staff.
COVID -19 Update
At this point, the office will remain closed for two full weeks. This will help ensure the safety of our staff and customers. Tentatively, we hope to re-open on April 6th 2020.
Please feel free to contact us by phone or email as our office staff will be working from home.
According to Section 13 of the essential services list released by the government on Tuesday March 24, we can still operate. Andy’s should be able to continue with the spring cleanups and grass cutting.
Please note that there will be a delay in the retrieval of the snow markers and stakes. Please do not discard our markers. Please place any fallen markers by your garage so we can pick them up.
On behalf of Andy’s and our staff, we wish you and your families to be safe and healthy. Seniors who are in need of help, please give us a call and we will do whatever we can to help you through this pandemic.
